I am curious to know if the size of the fish in our tanks are the size as they are in the ocean. I was looking at my tank and thinking that my fish and anemone are awfully small for an ocean. So are they really this small in the ocean or do they grow larger?

I am a scuba diver and on a recent trip to Indonesia, it was not uncommon to see tangs and angels around 18 inches, even smaller fish like yelow coris were around 5 inches on the larger ones. I would definitely say that these fish get much bigger in the wild

No restrictions on space to grow would be my guess why.
