CONGRATS!!!!

I remember being 16 and apply for my first job in a fish store. I was so scared that the manager would quiz me. I knew the nitrogen cycle. I was afraid he’d ask what was the nitrifying bacteria names and I’d forget. I didn’t know all the fish and what goes together. I remember saying, “I know you don’t put a clown trigger with a blenny, but I’m not super well versed on all the fish.” The manager looked me with a dead pan expression and said, “you’ve already proved with that statement you know more than some of my other guys, when can you start?” Lol. Working in a LFS is mostly all on the job training anyway. Good luck!

Semi-relevant:

When interviewing for my job as a technical assistant at a local Mercedes/Volvo service center back in high school, I opened by starting to tell the business owner about an air cooled VW engine I had just rebuilt…

The owner stopped me mid-sentence and said “I don’t care about any of that… what I want to know is: do you own tools?”

Me: “wha? Of course!!”

Owner: “great, you’re hired!”

— It was far from what I’d describe as a conventional hiring process, but that one question told him a LOT about me as a person!
Similar to my first job as a tech at a dealership only the owner/ service manager didn't even ask about tool he just asked how big my box was. Of course being unemployed with a 2 week old baby and no health insurances I lied. He hired me and I had to scramble to get a sears CC and buy a box. He told me years later he knew I lied and bought the box after he hired me. Ended up working there for 30+ years.
