Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some fish suggestions for my m-90 fluval reef tank. Currently, I have x2 clown fish, a peppermint shrimp, and a basic Clean up Crew (CUC). The tank is about 135L, and I'm looking for some utility fish that can help me out with my GHA problem. I also prefer colorful and interesting fish that are non-aggressive and ideally reef safe since I have a few corals in my tank.
I'm thinking of adding one fish for the rockwork, one for the bottom of the tank sand area, and possibly one swimmer in the main water column. I've done some research and came across some options such as:
  • Tailspot blenny
  • Four Stripe Humbugs
  • Yellowtail Midas Blenny (unsure if they eat algae)
  • Sailfin blenny (useful? )
  • Scooter Blenny (concerned about feeding because they need pods to allot of the time? )
  • Lawnmower blenny (gets quite big and brown isn't my preference but I like the utility)
  • Royal gramma (interesting colors but unsure if it has a job/role)
  • Wrasses (unsure if they could cause issues with other fish?)
  • Not interested in Banggai cardinalfish or firefish
  • Cherub and Lemonpeel Angel? (is my tank big enough for 1 of these?)
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these fish in their reef tanks or can suggest any others that would be a good fit for my tank? I'm open to any suggestions and appreciate any advice.
Thank you in advance!
