Fish suggestions

that was my thought too, so i was going to get one of the more exotic halichoeres, but that yellow is crazy bright. i'm glad i have her, they're cool fish.

and bummer about the mean midas, mine is like a golden retriever. i've seen people say starry blennies can be mean too, maybe try a fanged blenny?
I would even try another midas I think it's just luck ?

idk, i've only ever kept one :)

i can only add that i don't have any small timid fish like a firefish in my tank, so maybe that plays a role. the lowest totem pole fish in my tank is a springer damsel who gets pushed around by even the bangaii cardinal lol

Yeah the firefish is defenitly the baby

No, I think 50G is the minimum size.

Should have taken a picture while i was at home, but H. Iridis are also gorgeous, slightly smaller and more timid. They are also a bit more expensive and a little bit harder to get eating sometimes. Mine took to live brine the first day it stopped hiding.

I just added a McCoskers (on sale at LA) for my 45g. What a great fish. Since I got rid of the dottyback everyone is happy, all swim together, (2 clowns, royal gamma, bicolor blenny) except a YWG of course who scowls from beneath the rocks.

Strawberry basslet, pure firefish goby, tail spot blenny (algae eater), 4 lined wrasse, small yellow tang and a dwarf angel such as a flame or coral beauty
