Have an ick outbreak in my display tank, I’ve read that copper is very harmful to some types of fish. Anyone got s list?!

Specifically wondering for my Firefish, hawkfish, and watchman goby. I think somewhere around here says that my mandarin goby can’t hang

Mandarins for sure are a no go. check out the threads on chloroquine phosphate. I don't think the fish you mention are on the no list for that. I'll be starting CP on my mandarins and a barbar shop goby in a day or two.

Oh that makes sense. When I saw CP I always thought it meant copper lol is CP safe for all fish?

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
