Thank you. She has good taste in fish!. Her tank is coming along well.very nice clowns
I meet with the builders of my house in 1 week. I wonder if they have ever had anyone do a "fishroom" before. And i wonder if they are going to find it strange when i ask them to leave a big hole in the living room wall.... im so excited. I dont care about counter tops, carpet choices, fancy molding... the one room in the house i truly care about is the fish room.
Builder said they could accommodate without voiding the structural warranty as long as they do the work. Im sure they will charge a ton more to do it but worth it when a 10 yr structural warranty is on the line. I will have them put the opening in and drywall frame it. I will give myself roughly 1 inch top and sides extra that can be hidden with some well placed trim. So until there is a tank in it, everyone will be asking... why is there a hole in your wall? just need to finalize the contract with the builder and get it done. We're potentially starting a new build soon...and I'm wondering the same thing. Probably get it framed so I can remove a section of drywall and have the opening for the size tank I'll be getting down the road. What did you end up deciding?
