Fitting ID

Does anyone know what this fitting is called? I have ordered like 3 wrong items now. It connect to the bottom of the over flow tube and makes the water level behind the overflow adjustable by going up and down.

Thank you. I have seen it but cannot find the 1 inch part that would allow it to slide up and down

It may be proprietary. At first I thought that it may be metric, but all of the other measurements in the manual are English/Imperial.
