I recently purchased a McCoskers flasher wrasse too small to sex, and was wondering if it was a female, is there any way to "make" it a male?

Do you have a picture? Flashers sold as "female" often are not. If it's identifiable as a mccoskeri, it is likely already male.
If it is actually female, it will transition to male in due time without an extra effort or involvement.

Not yet, just added it a day ago, still hiding. It was sold as unsexed. Ill post a pic when it comes out.
