Flat cynarina

I have 2 cynarinas in my tank and both has been doing extremely well the past few months. Recently I noticed both of them opening flat like on the photos. Anyone knows what's going on here?

they do this from time to time…
will literally bubble up after feeding,
lay flat when happy…
retract when they’re pooping.
etc…

as long as there isn’t any recession along the skeleton,
and it’s putting out feeders to eat (which it is.)
you’re in the green

yeah u might be right, flow might be the culprit here bc there's direct flow coming in from that side but i'd say it's pretty little flow
