Hi there,

I've had this beautiful Acantho for a few weeks now but just noticed what very much looks like a flatworm on it. It hasn't moved much in the two days since I've noticed it, but it has 'rotated'. You can see in the picture there's a little indent that is facing upwards, but it has since shifted to facing downwards, which cements my belief that this is infact a flatworm.

I've never actually heard of flatworms affecting Acanthophyillia, and this is my first Acanthophyllia, so I want to make sure I'm treating it correctly.
I have CoralRX which claims it can kill flatworms in 15 minutes, so I could try dipping it in that, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Please see the picture and let me know what you all think! Any help would be appreciated.

Acoel flatworm, probably just cruising around and not "eating' the coral directly. These can sometimes become so numerous that they impact the tank/coral.

Siphon them up, carefully removing them from the coral and any other surfaces you find them.

Yep, ended up sucking it off easy enough.

I'll keep an eye out for additional ones.

Thanks!
