Greetings!!
So I am new to corals and have a green Favia coral. It appears the middle of the coral is opening? I am not sure if this is normal. I posted a picture. Any advice or suggestions?

Looks healthy to me, it might just be feeding. I would not worry about it unless it stays like this or gets worse over the next few days. Corals are all pretty weird so its not uncommon to see things like this happen but as long as the coral says colored and does not lose tissue, don't fret too much over it.

Thank you, I just got worried because the top left section's mouth? Opened up really wide and I hadn't seen it do that yet. Sorry I don't know the correct wording or phrases to use lol

When in doubt, it never hurts to ask the community. Have you measured your tank's parameters recently? That could help detect if that coral is being stressed or damaged.
