I got up this morning to a flood. The return hose that leads from my sump back into the display had come off the pump and the pump was spraying water everywhere. Great way to start the day (sarcasm).

Fortunately the way the tank overflow works I only "lost" about 10 gallons. Even more fortunately there's a roughly 1/4 inch hole in the floor behind the tank so most of the water ended up in the basement instead of all over the living room. Whew. What could have been a major disaster turned out to be mostly an annoyance.

And now I don't have to do my normal Sunday water change! It's been done :D.
