I am planning on dropping in a IM ext 200 aquarium in my bedroom which is is 200 gallons with a 50 gallon sump and a 300lb stand. This would weigh north of 2000lbs, but the only place it would fit is parallel to the floor joists. Now I am curious if full dimension eastern hemlock 2x8s are enough with two beams holding it and being partially against a load bearing wall. If no, how would I reinforce the floor enough, more cross bracing? I know a good bit of carpentry but my expertise is in decks and furniture so I am deferring to your advice guys.

Just for note, yes that is 4 inches of insulation most places and I did measure the joints and they are dead on 2x8
