Beautiful fish!! Keep working at the coral. I'm certain you'll be able to get some growing soon!
Thanks for the encouragement! Also, I didn't realize how blue and washed-out the photos I uploaded were - I'll look to take some better ones soon that do the fish a little more justice

Hello, can you share how you plubed the UV sterilizer? Thanks

I actually recently changed the plumbing slightly, and will try to take some pictures to upload soon to help visualize how I have this configured.

I used vinyl tubing to go from the Sicce pump in the sump compartment around the back of the cabinet and into the chiller located inside the right side compartment. I mounted the UV horizontally in the cabinet such that I was able to lineup the output from the chiller to the UV input, and have a short run of vinyl tube for that connection. The output from the UV is then routed up and back into the display tank.

Well, I've obviously not done a good job of maintaining this thread :)

So quick summary of the last 1 1/2 years:

Tank has been doing well. I've had reasonable success with my SPS, which are primarily from Battlecorals and the "back farm" at Topshelf. At this point I'm mostly trying to maintain and grow these into bigger colonies, and don't have any livestock changes planned. Almost no LPS are in the tank, just 1 elegance and 1 acan colony.

Most of the original equipment is still in use, but frankly I gave up on ever getting my ecotech G5 lights and ecotech versa dosing pumps to work with Mobius awhile ago, and I'm exploring what lights/dosing pumps I should switch to. The ecotech gear simply isn't as reliable as it needs to be. Currently I run the doser's manually each day and have to reset the Mobious clock every other week to keep the lights from turning on in the middle of the night when they suddenly think it's 1970... The MP40s and Vectra seem to work well enough at least.

Current stocking list:
- 2x Swallowtail Angelfish "Genicanthus melanospilos" (1 male & 1 female)
- 3x Yellow Tangs "Zebrasoma flavescens"
- 6x Blue/Green Reef Chromis "Chromis Viridis"
- 1x six-line wrasse "Pseudocheilinus hexataenia"
- 2x Blood Red Fire Shrimp "Lysmata debelius"
- Variety of snails & crabs for cleanup crew

I'm also realizing I don't take photos of my tank very often since I look at it everyday, so I'll try to take some updated pictures this week. Things have changed a lot since this set of photos dated November, 2022:

I was a little rushed and didn't have an opportunity to get the lenses right to really convey how the tank actually looks to the eye, but here are some updated photos:
