Flow in a 120g tank

Hello fellow reefers,
I have a 6 months old 120g tank which is starting to grow some corals,
no i don't know if i have to much, not enough or just the right amount of flow.
I have 1 Maxspect gyre 350 on the right side.
I also don't know how high should i position it.
Recently added a few stylos and one acro (to try it out).
I also started to ramp my lights a bit (Hydra 32HD), now sitting at around 70% peak power, BRS Schedule.

I doubt that anyone can give you those specific details by looking at that picture.

I am not a big fan of BRS. They sell stuff, so take their advice knowing in advance they will sell technology & automation, which after perusing your threads I see you bought stuff.

As an old school hobbiest, with a marine engineering degree including a background in municipal & industrial waste water management, I prefer to use more biology with less technology and for that I use bioindicators. If you are growing coral, what do they tell you when you observe them.

With respect to your question about flow in your 120G display, it depends on what’s in the tank.

To start with, turn on the white lights and make a video while food is added to the tank. In that manner, you will see what the current looks like in your display.

I can’t see it from Texas to Croatia unless you show it.
