I’m in the planning stages of my 75 gallon and I’m trying to use what I have laying around

For flow in the tank would this layout work?

Sorry for the elementary drawing

Return pump I haven’t decided yet, I am thinking a dc style pump but I do have a siccie 3.0 a mag 5 and a mag 12 but really don’t want to use the mag drives

The powerhead on the right is a IM 1500gph dc controlled

Some folks use dual return pumps for redundancy, but the diagram looks fine as it is. Some folks also put a second powerhead on the opposite wall but one is likely enough, especially if you are pushing 1000 gph through the sump loop.
