Today's match-up is between two beloved corals whose presence takes any reef to the next level! Duncans and Elegance coral!

Flowy and Fighting: Duncans vs. Elegance Coral! Which do you prefer?

I voted Duncans, but only because I've never had an elegance.

I love elegance but they can be a bit tricky. Duncans are an easier and more Forgiving lps.

Duncan’s for sure, easy to keep, super resilient.

Versus elegance, for me, never got one past a year in 40 years, a dozen or so attempts.

I love them both! Duncans are way easier to keep and big colonies are gorgeous but there’s something majestic about a large elegance coral when it’s fully expanded and all fluffed up.

Feed it! I feed a whole cube of brine to my 2 elegance weekly. I was able to revive one from recession and tears on the tissue, and now its fluffy and rich in color! Mine like lower par under 100, right around 80 right now. If you see something wrong, in my experience dips make it worse. Just consistently keep good parameters and feed if it will take food. If it doesnt recover its not your fault, rather the coral wasn’t resilient enough.
