I bought FLR a couple years back and thought I had killed off all the aiptasia - this one popped back up and before I nuke it with my laser or Kalk paste, I want to be sure of my foe.

It likes the dark - only growing on underside of a small cave in the rockwork.. Shrinks away with high light exposure or minor laser treatment. The internal disk is about 1/4 inch. Tentacles are growing and don’t want this one to spread if it’s bad. It’s been around for a while - noticed it a couple months back, but remember something very similar from the new FLR arrival days as well.

appreciate the help!

No, it could be another type of anemone or even a sponge. Hard to tell by that pic. Does it sway in the water? If you touch it with something does it retract?

Bad pic but here is a type of stringy sponge that I thought of. But it could just be a wild anemone. Depending on where you got your LR.
