hey everyone! i’ve fought with flukes about 4 times so far in the year of being in the reefing community. i’ve been able to keep them away for a bit now. but tonight looked at one of my barnacle blennies and noticed he was a whitish pale color. was also breathing fast and heavy. got it out quick and into a quarantine tank with some prazi-pro. if it is flukes i plan on treating the whole tank with prazi again.

just wanted to maybe get some second opinions on what it could maybe be.

all the other fish and barnacle blennies look, eat and act normal. all corals are healthy, fully extended and water perimeters are all good. thank you in advance!

Video is too short and too dark to make a proper assessment. Fish appear thin and hard to tell though as the face mainly shoes in pics/video
Please repost under bright white light intensity and at least 30 seconds of play
Some symptoms of flukes will be rash from scratching, red or swollen with rapid breathing, fish acting lethargic or swimming near the water surface, hiding in the corner of tank or behind rocks, loss of appetite, shaking its head, flashing/darting, develop clamped fins, , or scratching against objects. They may also exhibit what looks like yawning from gill irritation develop, cloudy eyes and loss of color.

I couldn't tell for certain, but it looked to me that two of the blennies were breathing a bit too deeply and fast. There was a third one? I couldn't get a good view of that.

What are the other fish in the tank? Generally, flukes are going to affect all fish of the same species about equally, and most flukes will affect other fish as well.

What is the status of the blenny this morning? It cooks like you had captured it and put it in a different container?
