Hi everyone,

I am thinking of getting a fluval 32.5 gallon and just looking to see what people think of it? Other options to consider. pros and cons.

Thanks

I have a Flex 15 and its been working great, definitely look into upgrading the light unless you're just wanting to keep soft corals and some LPS

So I'm mixed on use right now, sorta wondering how these are in comparison to biocubes of similar size, or if I should just go bigger?

I have the fluval 32 for about 4 months now and I like it but I wish I went bigger or more of a square shape aquarium. The fluval 32 is a nice size but the curve of the glass can be annoying to clean. You can't really have a magnetic scraper to clean it.

It’s about as tall as the biocube 32, it’s just wider and not as deep. I’ve heard the light on the Fluval 32.5 can get quite hot and will heat up the tank. Personally, if you’re looking for a tank in that size, I would get a red sea max nano (if it’s in your budget), or the Nanocube 28g wifi (it’s almost identical to the biocube, but has slightly better lights and has a dual return with a wave maker/controller). If you want to piece everything together separately, waterbox makes some nice nano aquariums.

Right now I can get a used fluval for $200 prob a little less, or a 72 bow front for $100 what the heck stand.

I will take the 72 bowfront for $100. I had a 46 bowfront and loved it. Upgraded to 75 last October.
