Here are some pictures of the newish fluval evo. I’ve been out of saltwater for a while and decided to start and (hopefully stay) with a small tank. I like the stock look and have no interest in upgrading lights. Future plans include macro algae and nice leathers/mushrooms and a group of 6-8 sexy shrimp.
Current tank setup: stock with Tunze 6040 Powerhead, Tunze nano Ato and innovative marine 5 gallon Ato reservoir. It is in the middle of my living room so it needs to look decent hence the Ato reservoir. I am still working on wire management. Any tips to hide them would be appreciated.
stock list:
1 x lightening clownfish
1 x storm orange clownfish
25 x dwarf cerith snails
10 x cerith
10 x Nerite snails
6 x nasserite snails
1 x banded brittle star
1 x urchin

i built a little cabinet for my EVO and ran the lines and hoses through the back and up one side.

Also, are you missing the front cover of your powerhead?
No, the Tunze 6040 comes with a flow director if needed but otherwise its open, it’s a VERY wide flow pump is the only reason I can think to exclude a cover is for greater intake potential? Either way, fingers crossed no problems and it works amazing. It turns my tank into a sunami if I turn it up and will splash water out of the tank in wave mode.

holy cow thats a CLEAN UP CREW if i ever saw one. From that rock work and a small tank, my question is if you would have enough food for all them CUC in the long run.
