Just curious on what everyone else is doing on their reef evo tank as far as the media chamber goes. I’m just using what came with it still the bio balls at the bottom of sponge filter and the carbon at the top I also added an extra bag of Red Sea activated carbon underneath the sponge filter with the two cut outs for the small carbon bag and bio balls. Let me know if there’s a more effective way to use the chamber or chambers. I have a heater in the over flow chamber and of course the pump on the other side

Looking nice. Do you have a picture of the chamber set up in back? Or a description of what your running in all chambers ?

All I run is a InTank chamber 1 media basket with floss, Chemipure Blue and Purigen. I put the stock bio balls in the bottom.
Ditch that foam filter ASAP.

I was gonna do a media basket with 3 slots and put it where chamber one is top layer I would use filter floss second one would be cheato and light and 3rd maybe like bio balls and in chamber 2 use a bag of chemi pure or carbon and move my heater to chamber 3 where pump is

I do have a pic, not very good though. Overflow chamber into basket one, floss and maxspect bio balls, chamber 2 water flows up from bottom of overflow chamber, running carbon and rowaphos and more floss
Return chamber, Ehiem 1000 return pump and heater, ato

Sorry pic upload not working

It’s all good but nice man. I think I’m gonna run on the overflow chamber in fist slot filter floss then underneath in second slot a small deal of cheato with mini light then the 3rd slot bio balls. Then middle chamber will be a bag of carbon or chemipure and 3rd chamber just leave it by itself with pump and my heater.
