Hello everyone. I recently cleaned the Fluval Flex 15-gallon filter, but after reattaching it, the water flow is low. I noticed that the water level in the filter compartment is typically lower than in the tank, but now it seems to be filling up and not draining properly. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

If the filter was exceptionally dirty before, that would explain why you had low water level in the pump chamber, and now you have a higher water level. Though that would not explain a change in flow coming from the pump itself. Is the changing water level the only issue or is the actual flow coming out of the nozzle different? if the flow from the nozzle is lower, the only thing I could think of is that during cleaning you adjusted the slider on the side of the pump that reduces the intake, but if you did not mess with the pump itself, that is unlikely.

I might have accidentally adjusted the slider because I did in fact twist it around so it could be tighter, do you know how to adjust it back to its original settings I lost the tank manual.

Hey sorry I can't help with this but I was looking into one of these tanks as an upgrade for a single predator fish I have. What is the maintenance like on glass cleaning for this thing? Does the curve stop you from being able to use a magnet scraper?

Ah! Sorry for the late response but I no longer use the magnet scraper but when I was using it the curve didn't prevent me from using the scraper.

Yes and no, your standard scraper will work but only up and down, the curve prevents side to side scraping. That said, there are scrapers made for curved aquariums. . . But they have the same limitation and don't work that great in my experience. . .

Thanks I appreciate both of your responses, sorry for the derail - I'm going with a different tank because it's for someone who will try to eat my fingers and I don't want to stick my hand in to scrub lol
