Hi all

This is a question for anyone who has a fluval flex 32.5 and is running a tunze 9001 skimmer.
Did u have to make any modifications to the filtration cover for the 9001 to fit nicely in the middle chamber? And were there any other modifications that needed to be made in order to mount the skimmer.

Thanks in advance
Matt

Just bought, looks like it won’t fit with the back cover on, it’s slightly bigger than the square thing.

Yeah I've just installed mine
Had to trim the hole slightly on the cover and it now fits nice and snug.
Can't seem to make the skimmer sit completely level though with the main tank cover on though
This is my first ever skimmer so now to see if I have it installed correctly.
Cheers

I just got it also and have the same issue. Instead of cutting out an exact hole for it like you, I just sawed the two sides off and kept them to use with nothing over the middle part. I think part of my issue the little hook to hold wires on the lid is throwing it off, I might chop that off this weekend. It has only been a few days so I am still experimenting with it.
