Is there a way to add a sensor to skimmer cup that plugs into FMM? It seems the optical sensor would be a mess with foam. I looked for a FMM based float sensor but don’t see anything.

Surely there’s a way to monitor fluid level in the skimmer cup using an FMM port.

Not familiar with FMM or how DIY you want to get. Here an example of an AC drain switch. They are Normaly Closed switch.
