Hi all:

What foreign languages are you fluent in? Do we have anyone who is fluent in Russian and has good English?

I'm putting together a piece with a forum member who speaks Russian but not English, so all our conversation is going through an online translator, and it's......difficult.

I'm fluent in French.

Btw when i saw this post originally if you say it fast it says...foreign article foreign language. And I thought you were doing some play on words. I have a few medical students that speak Russian but not me

Hey there! I was born and raised in PA. Pittsburgh area. Heading there tomorrow.
The German has come in handy as all of patients are Amish and speak a “type” of German. I took four years of it in HS. Japanese I learned later in life for Karate. Latin, took five semesters of it in college to help with science terms.
But yes that part of the brain definitely works better for learning at a young age.
