Does anyone know of anything to avoid if pregnant. Paly's are probab;y a #1 no go, Any chemicals to avoid? Are water changes and getting yor arm wet when rearranging/ fragging ok? If zeovit ok to play with?

yeah I figured but no one knows about this stuff and the last thing I need is for them to tell me no "just in case" I aint a pocelin doll here, but i also don't want to F this thing up either. haha

Thanks, it's a bit too early to be saying anything but as this is a critical neural development time frame I needed to ask, As there is still like a 20-30% chance I'll have "coral polyp bailout" I'm not too over excited just yet.

I would say wear new, clean gloves if you put your hand/arm in the tank. You can get long gloves to the shoulder from any large animal vet or on Amazon. And I wouldn't change water either if you have someone who can do it for you. There is plenty of bacteria in a SW fish tank including some that can be transmitted to humans like Vibrio. I wouldn't take a chance, but I'm very cautious like that. If you're going to change water yourself, I'd wear gloves and a face shield, but that's me.

To be honest I made sure I didn't touch anything inside the tank. I did dosing but other then that I had my husband do the rest. Just to be safe.

Congrats! I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant. Hadn't really thought much about not doing regular maintenance, to be honest. Only thing I've changed is not lifting water.

I think Common sense is about all you need in this situation. Wear Gloves and a Mask when messing with corals and water changes (Something we all should probably do anyway) No packing heavy buckets once your further along , And Stay off a ladder or stool cleaning glass (applies to larger tanks) .
Its been 26 years ago but when my Wife was Preg with our son (expensive process way back then ) She continues to help maintain the tanks on a Daily bases as i was Working out of town most of the time .

I also believe there really is not enough, Maybe no Data Available for this situation . Doctors will likely over think it and tell you NO Reefing ,nothing to worry about or be cautious . a Marine biologist would likely be best people to ask .But again i feel they will over think. The industry i work in seems to be moving to the Over think about any possible Safety concern to the point its Extremely costly on some Projects.. I have Asbestos ,Lead paint, OSHA Safety and a Number of other Hazardous exposure training Countless expensive number of paid hours Just because a agency says i need it .. 99% Could be summed up to USE COMMON SENSE..
