what are your thoughts on force feeding convict tang that has not eaten since monday he is 2inch in qt doesnt eat anything i tried everything

he'll probably just spit it out if you manage to get it into this mouth. handling the fish with your bare hands can add stress too

2 days is not enough to panic yet. If the fish has some girth it can survive that. Did you see it eat when you bought it?

some of my new fish i got (anthias, springer damsel) only seem to eat the tiny frozen mysis shrimp. they would ignore the brine shrimp, until months later. mysis, being high in protein is probably more appealing to finicky fish. you can also try chopped krill.
