Found a good deal while browsing Craigslist today

I was browsing craigslist today and came across a post for a 55 gal with stand and accessories for $150. A couple pictures were posted and it looked decent so I called. The woman said she needed it gone in two days and was a saltwater setup with lots of extras. The wife and I decided to drive out and picked up all this for a much lower price than asking (she just wanted it gone). Can't wait to clean it up and get started....

Yes, it is tempered glass.

Dang, I was going to suggest drilling it and putting an overflow in it. Are you planning on adding a sump?

Just walked out to clean the sump. The tank is on the stand in our garage and the sump below. My wife decided she wanted to clean the sump today but couldn't move the tank by herself so she decided to try and pull the sump out from behind the stand. She got it so wedged in there that I had to take the stand partially apart to get it out. Marks all over the inside of the stand from where she wedged it and the sump cracked on one side. It is plastic. A great evening so far...lol

Just a suggestion if you think your going to put another sump under the stand. I have the same stand except its for a 75. I ended up cutting
the bottom out of the stand, and then placing the stand over the sump. Other wise I would have had to remove the center post to get
it in. This also gets you a few more inches of height for the protein skimmer. In fact I ended building up the base of the stand with 4x4's so I had
even more room and bring the tank a little higher to eye level.

I found another deal on Craigslist today, a RO/DI system (recently bought and only made 30 gallons recently). Came with the garbage can, lid, shutoff float and all paperwork/parts. I picked it up pretty cheap as well.
