I found what appears to be some sort of eggs in my tank today. I noticed them on the rear left side glass of my tank up at the top.
Upon further looking in the tank I have them on one of my rocks also. Think they could be snail eggs?

As for snails, I have Margarita, Astrea, Cerith's and Nassarius snails. I did notice a Cerith up at the corner where the eggs are yesterday for about an hour.

My vote is snail eggs! :D

So do you think I will have a bunch of baby snails or will they just be eaten or never hatch???

I have the same thing in tanks with Cerith snails. Sometimes in the morning I will see 4 or 5 strings of eggs. I think the snails have an orgy every once in a while. I never see any baby snails so I don't know what happens to them.

I see what looks like egg sacks from time to time, the egg sacks disapear and then about a week latter I start to see little white dots on the glass that turn into snails that get to be about 1/2" long. They don't seem to live very long, but at any given time I can have between 20 and 50 crawling on the glass. Right now, I have about 25 ranging from little dot about the size of pin head up to a couple that are about 1/2" long. I don't know what kind these are. I have tried to take pictures of them but my camrea isn't that good to be able to really see them. I have always been told that if you can grow snails, your tank is healthy.

I just recently started getting those in my tank also. I started getting them after I ordered some nassarious and cerith snails so I'm guessing it's one of those.
I have other types of snails also though so it could be another kind.
My fish don't seem to the eggs.
