Looking for some good, detailed books on fish-only and fish-only with live rock that are recent and have lots of information...planning more of a fish tank for my next one...my little reef is doing well and I'd like a tank with more fish without the cost and effort of another reef...I'd appreciate any recommendations...:D

Any fish can be a fowlr or fo tank. Are you looking for a certain type of fish?

Non reef Angels, groupers, triggers, scorpions?

This is a good book for scorps, but is this what you have in mind?

I get that, but certain fish are in certain books.
No, no...I'm looking for technical advise to set up a fowlr or fo tank...such as filtration, using lr without other invertebrates, can you treat fish in a fish only tank, etc....hey, I like to read about these things before I dive in...so to speak... Its not fish compatibility that I care about right now...its putting up a successful and sustainable tank...

I have the marine aquarium book! Really helped me get started
Also I recommend the conscientious marine aquarist by bob fenner! It is not specific to fo but it has tons of Information from lighting to filtration to certain species of fish and requirements
Great read!

I saw him speak at Macna in Baltimore about 15 years ago...what I need is a book that talks about the specifics of fowlr and fo tanks...the filtering, how a fowlr differs from a reef and so forth...Thanks
