Hello,

I finally solved the mystery of why my corals are looking horrible beside parameters being ok - caught my fox face munching on them especially euphyllias and toadstool.

He’s a juvenile about 5cm long and it’s temporary on my 20gal - I know - my big tank is cycling and should be safe in a couple days.

The question is: once he is moved to the big tank is there a chance he will stop munching on corals since there’s way more rock? Or should I just give it back to my LFS? Anyone with similar experience?

Btw I constantly keep nori in the tank

If he’s still eating corals despite having constant access to nori, I think it’s a losing battle.

Try exchanging it for another one. I think you were just unlucky because foxfaces rarely go after euphyllia and leathers.

Thank you! I traded him for a Melanurus Wrasse. Didn’t want to take the risk especially because the new tank doesn’t have algae yet
