I just upgraded from an 80 gallon to a 150 gallon. While my one spot foxface most definitely appreciates the extra room, he's been keeping the royal gramma backed into a corner.

They've been together 2 years without an issue. The gramma is large but fairly timid. One thing I've noticed is in the new tank, the foxface seems to fight his reflection a bit, which also never happened in the old tank (might be related to being in a different location with different lighting).

How long should I wait it out? Or is there something I can do to intervene?

Probably just finding its place. What other fish do you have?

Only an ocellaris clown and lyretail anthias (all 4 fish have been together for 2 years). No issues with either of those, they are out swimming freely

Foxface can be weird. I can see the clown settling fine quickly. Anthias depends on individual. Watch closely. Usually royal gramma can handle themselves well. If still no good after tomorrow, may have to intervene. Usually will work it out. Not always to our liking however. :(

Maybe tape a mirror on the side of the tank to distract the Foxface.

Is the new tank low iron glass if so it is more reflective to the fish so they may glass surf more.
