Hey guys,

Got a juvenile foxface from my LFS, pre quarantined, about two weeks ago.

Since then, the top of his body has been very dark, never changing. When frightened, he changes colors to the mottled yellow color which is common to these guys. But this never changes.

Great diet..mysis, spirilla mysis, pellets, and always nori for him to snack on.

My tank is very mellow and nobody bothers him, he just rolls with my yellow tang all day, they’re homies from the minute he acclimated.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

I have one the same way, however, as it's getting older the black is starting to look like it's regressing into a spot formation.

Interested to hear what others have to say.
