So I have recently read a lot on Foxfaces and how shy they can be. I have had one for about a week now and he was doing great, eating, swimming, hanging out, etc.
I was doing some coral rearranging today and I noticed he was stuck to the intake tube but then he just swam off like nothing. He then went to the corner to hide for a bit, but now is back to taking a liking to the intake tube. Is this normal behavior for a Foxface?

***Edit, it must be normal as he is trying to camouflage himself. He is swimming around until he sees me, then back to the tube.

Interesting behavior. If he wasn’t able to get free I would worry that it was weak. I’m thinking it’s smart and resting, kind of like “Checking out the scene with a gangster lean.”
Thanks for posting and get a picture of the fish relaxing on the intake.

Not the best pics but here it is hiding under the rack.
I have never seen it do this kind of stuff before so to be honest, I was a bit concerned.
