Which fish is challenging to keep the blenny or the foxface?I’m sorry to say that these fish are challenging to keep in captivity because they’re prone to this kind of behavior. They change color/spots depending upon how they feel. Fish looks happy!
The foxface is roughly 4 inches. The black ring is probably a little smaller than a dime.I haven’t seen a bite mark like that before. I would think that injured flesh on a fox face would be whitish in color. At least on my fox face it shows healing that way.
I can’t tell the size of the fish from the picture but that ring looks large(?)
Strange. After being razored by my hippo tang, the wound on my foxface was also brown - which got me panicking about infections and the like - but it healed rapidly.I haven’t seen a bite mark like that before. Maybe it does get slightly brown. They do heal fast. I've had mind for almost 10 years and will get scratched now and again. I haven't seen a bite ring before.Strange.
