I cant do anything like that lol no space :(
is there a safe ml per gal addition I could make daily or weekly? could I use it as part of my maintenance until the "new tank" is worn in?
I believe Im starting to grow tiny bits of hair algae on the disks too...

2ml 2X a day (lights on lights off)
This takes a few weeks and also adds a little O2 to the tank.

Are there any repercussions to adding peroxide? Would I be in danger of losing any frags like when I spot treated?
Im assuming 2ml is a total treatment for the 40 gallon water volume.

Have you tried dosing bacteria like microbacter7? Once you add more flow I think it will clear up.

There is a slight drop in ORP when using H2O2 otherwise there is no negative I have found.
People say it may harm the "bacteria" in the tank but to date I have not come to that conclusion.
I may have read your volume wrong.. at 40G you would dose 4ml 2X daily

Yes it is the 3%
It is totally up to you
My tank is dosed 24 hours a day at currently 2ml an hour.
I add for 7 days after I see it clear up to make sure it is gone
Now if it is something like spirulina H2O2 will not touch it so it does depend on what is growing in the tank.

Took some pics of the algae with my phone. Maybe it's not diatoms...
First three are the algae in question, scrapes off easily with fingers or toothbrush and it flows with the powerheads. Last is a thicker type on the frag plug

I'm not so sure about that...none of the frags have it and the stuff grows back within a day after I've brushed it off. Could it be hair algae?
Ugh I thought pictures would make it easier.
