I just set up my frag tank (12 gal), it has had the water and gravel in it but the tank was not running(because i was goining to take it down)....

Is the tank already cycled?? Its not toxic, i dont think, as copepods and little inverts are still swimming around...

If not how do i know when?

Put a few test frags in it to find out ;)

Also maybe test cal, mag, and dkh? That's what I did.

This frag tank is only going to be lps and softies...

I was thinking a shroom, zoa, button polyp, and maybe a cheap chalice frag???? are they good testers? And im about to test the water in a few minutes

I just started running it 2 day..and it has been off for about 2-3 weeks

it gona be okay if you use the water from your Dt water change plus some live rocks and dose some live biological bacteria product such as cycle, etc. i have done it in the past and everything was fine not to mention I did have couple sps in there too

Ok ill try the test frags for the day and tell you all the results
