Frag tank lighting question..

I am planning on setting up a frag tank that will be about 24x12x12 and was wondering if a 24in glo fixture(w/original bulbs) would work to grow sps etc.?

Also, if the original bulbs won't put out enough par what bulbs would?

well I think you know what I would say lol. Sunpower 4bulbs 54w....I have 2 sunpowers 6bulbs. one for my frag tank and one for my DT :)

Ha! Might be a little overkill on a 24in long 12 in deep and 16in wide frag tank:)

Bump for experience on using 2 bulb hagen glo fixture on a 24x16x12 or similar frag tank.

with the width you are looking at i would at least go with 2 of those or any 4 bulb fixture

Well, I want to have a rack for sps and high light right under the light(light about 6in or so above the water) and have acans and chalice frags off to the side a bit. Do you still think I'll need 4 bulbs?
