I made a few cuts in my DIY overflow box. looks a little rough but will do the job. I have to touch it up some yet but it' getting there. I'm yet to add the holes on the side for the 3/4" return lines. I'm wondering if 3 holes in the chamber is going to be a issue? it' a very shallow tank at 10" pics bellow

after drilling my glass. two 1" one 3/4" holes didn' line up 100% where I had them marked. as the one bit was bent/offcentered. so it took a good try to get it going. but I did after a hard try. But I did u have to build a new internal overflow box as the old one didn't fit. even after re-bending it many different ways. I'll save it for my next low boy. pic below of the new DIY internal overflow box baffle. I did better on the new one I think

This is a nice set up you have going. I've been thinking of turning my current tank into a frag/qt tank once I upgrade.
I can't wait to see your progress, especially once it gets wet.

Thank You. I was (still am)using 1 of my 2 systems. an it has frag racks all over an starting to look unattractive to me. Plus I've been wanting to have a dedicated frag system to really grow some nice sticks. below is half of my 125. the white racks just stick out too much for me.

Yeah I get what you mean, after my frag racks that I had broke I just never wanted to set them all back up again. I'd rather just set up my own frag tank like you said. It's much more fun!

I picked up another Neptune apex pm1 an a EB8. I was going to go stand alone but just couldn't help myself plus if I'm going to have a lot of money invested in frags in this tank I might as well know what's going on 24/7.

did a little dry fit on some plumbing an fit as I expected. I like to run spray bar set up. I'll drill holes to break the water. just a few an to give a nice shimmer. but most importantly of all is the holes I have going down towards the bottom to push anything (detritus) forward to the front of the tank for easy cleaning since I'll be running bare bottom.

I made a small channel on the bottom of the skimmer side to pull some water from the bottom as well. so it's not just passing through the top.
