I’m waiting to see what they turn into years from now. When I bought the original two from CB, the photo of mother colony he cut up didn’t look like a scoly.
Nice progress pics. Years ago I cut one up and with good water they seem to heal quickly and round back out nicely. I shut that tank down and sold them off so no idea how they are doing now, but since we don't spawn them in our tanks this may be the way to propagate them. Too bad they grow so slow.
I figured if CB cut them into tiny pieces I could get away with bigger sections. He cut the mother up to save it from snails I think he said. I’m sure he used a saw. Propagation by cutting seems to work. I don’t mind slow growers, I’m not in a race and my tank is small.
