Any special care you have notice ? Have you powerfed it lightly/moderately/heavily at all ? Sorry i just did this myself and want to be successful as you have been !
 
This gives us some vague idea of how slow these might be growing in the wild......how long does it take a 5"er to get that size?

But kudos for trying this anyway, keep us updated.

I baste mysis on it once a week.....While the tissue seems to heal quickly, to regain it's donut shape, the skeleton sure takes a long time to regenerate.
