For free ,
Take a few empty salt buckets foam shipping containers and bags .

as for the clown , depending on the size ,
If it’s a lot bigger being a lone fish it will automatically be female .
they can’t go back to being male .
if yours is bigger , they will fight .

for free , I’d take it and set up a qt with hopes of gifting it to a friend or setting up another tank ( a excuse for another setup is sometimes needed )

It’s free, I’d take it.
Keep in mind, it may come with stuff you don’t want so QT would be important.
The macro I would not touch for the same reasons and is not worth cleaning. Can easily hide Aptasia
Ohh, yikes.

I have an empty 2.5g and a 1.5g tank... maybe I could do a bare bottom QT tank? I like the idea of macro algae, but I don’t like the idea of aptasia. ;Blackeye

Or ...
if she truly loves the tank but has no time to maintain it

offer to maintain it for a small generous fee .
I just had an idea... why not ask for the whole tank? Or offer to pay her for it. If she is wanting to get rid of all livestock, then she shouldn’t need the tank, right?

I just texted and asked about the tank, I’m hoping for a yes? But, I won’t be disappointed if the answer is a no... ;)

There's your QT tank or side project tank... could be interesting!

Finally had to text from someone else phone, and she replied “No, sorry”. -…-

Well... so much for that.

I also found a drilled 125g saltwater complete setup for only $600...;Bucktooth;Dead

I disagree with keeping the clown. I don't think clowns turn back to males.
+1 - Supposedly clowns cannot change back to make once they become female.

Oops, I meant to type 1 1/2. ;Facepalm

Gotcha, I’ll make sure to bring a cooler.

Ok!

She said she was just about to tear down the tank, because no one had inquired about it. She also has a lone clownfish, which I feel sorry for. I don’t have any room however, because I already have a pair in my 29g... :(

Is there anything I can do for it?
