My wife and I stopped in at one of the LFS in Grand Rapids Michigan today. Admittedly not one I frequent often. The only reason was it was close and I needed some green nori.
After looking around my wife noticed an antenna goby and thought it would look good in our nano tank. She loves all gobies and blennies! The attendant helped us with that fish and then we commented on how good one of their display tanks looked. Lots of SPS coral and some nice fish as well. He than asked if we would like an SPS frag. I said, "sure!" As we talked about the tank he got his cutters and started to do some pruning. Before it was all said and done, we had -6- small frags from their beautiful display tank.
A green slimer
A blue what looks like birds nest
A couple of acros
An encrusting montipora
and a couple of, I'm just not sure?
We dipped them in Revive and glued them to rock in our tank. All have polyps out and I couldn't be happier. And I got the green nori too.
I'm sure we will be back to that LFS in the future!
