Fresh PVC solvent reef safe?

I know it most likely was asked before, I'm not even sure if I'm on the right forum for this either but I couldn't find a thread on it.
I have some plumbing mods to do and was wondering if freshly used pvc solvent is safe or will it cause any adverse effects in my tank?
