Just added a Maxima. Found this worm/other near the mantle. Anyone have any idea what this is? It is definitely alive.

It looks like a spinoid worm.
Weird spot for it , but I've seen them do odd things.
I'd just knock it off there.

Yea I would remove it since it might irritate the clam. Should come right off with no problem.
