I'm in the process of preparing a 25-gallon frogfish tank. It will just be one painted or warty along with zoas, ricordeas, and possibly rock flowers. Would the frog be likely to go after a porcelain crab in the rock flowers? My understanding is they don't show much interest in hard-shelled inverts, but wanted to get some opinions. Thanks!

You are correct, they will not normally eat hard bodied inverts. A 25g would be better suited for a warty, a painted gets much larger and if given room to roam, can be much more active than you would expect.
