Frogspawn creating air pockets

My frogspawn formed an air pocket on the left side about three weeks ago. Today I noticed it formed one on the right side. Is this normal or do anyone know why it's doing it?

This is normal I think, a good thing actually, typically a sign of growth and propagation.
