I just recently picked up a nice looking frogspawn got him dipped and glued down to rock he’s opened up quiet a bit within the 3 hours my worry is flow. Fluval evo 13.5 stock return pump and smallest GPH hydor power head is my set up my hammer coral does good with moderate to higher flow it’s not like they’re being whipped around. Should I be concerned

I QT'd a frogspawn in a 20g with two powerheads (smallest I could find). It did fine there for 45 days and is now happy in my DT. It was always moving a bit in the current, but not getting blasted.

I'm not sure if that helps, but it's at least a point of comparison.

Yeah sounds similar to my current situation it’s definitely opened up and looking really good so I guess it’s alright. I’m sure if there was too much flow it’d be closed up.

I have had this one for over 3 years now.
It was in my nano, then my 120, now my frag system.
It started as 2 8 head branches.
I gave one away and the one I kept is 14 heads now.
Mine likes medium to lower flow.
I removed it from my 120. The flow was to strong for it.
It has hosted this clown for 2 years now.

Looks happy! Just make sure it isn’t been thrown around and it should open quite large. I learned that they get larger when the current is slower, and they will get large with moderate flow, but it takes time for them to adjust to it
