Hello!! I’m still a fairly a new reefer and was seeing if anyone can help me on the placement of this frogspawn it is currently on the lower part of the tank. To me it looks like the coral is reaching for light but your opinion will be greatly appreciated!

FYI My lights are The Nicrew 100 watt LED on a 32 gallon biocube.

It doesn’t seem to have a great flesh band but otherwise doesn’t look to bad. They like medium flow, light jingling movement and medium light 100-150 par.

Can you elaborate a bit more on the flesh band? I placed it next to the hammer since it seems to be doing well.

It’s the white flesh that runs down the skeleton from the head. One inch is a good sign. Notice the white half way down on this torch.

Hanmers require the same light and flow. You should be good.

oh! Is the lack of flesh band a sign of lack of light?
